Vipol™ Matrix mesh is constructed from an open weave 14 oz. vinyl-coated polyester that cleats cannot penetrate, but rain, sports drinks, etc. drain thru, and can not be absorbed like mats that triple in weight and develop odors in storage. The matrix fabric lets air and sunlight get thru to turf, so it does not “smother” and compact grass like other covers. Lighter in weight, much easier to handle.
